Finish Line: 11th Street & Hope Street – downtown Los Angeles next to L.A. Live

Start off the New Year on the right foot by crossing the finish line! The New Year’s Race Los Angeles course offers its runners an awe-inspiring and totally unique tour of downtown Los Angeles—A NIGHT RACE under the glow of the bright city lights. The course starts on 7th Street and Grand Avenue which is known as the “Taste of Downtown.” The finish line will bring you next to the exciting new L.A. Live complex and guides participants through hotspots that mark the new generation of downtown living and some of the oldest historical landmarks of the city. Capped at 10,000 runners, each participant will get the VIP star treatment and be part of an elite group of runners that finished the first New Year’s Race Los Angeles.
(If you are signed up for the LA Marathon then this is a perfect training run! The course is very similar to the first 6 miles of the marathon.)

DJs and crazy light shows for the dance floor, rockin’ live music—the producers of the New Year’s Race Los Angeles are in discussions with the “Who’s Who” of the music and entertainment world to produce a star struck line-up for the New Year’s Race Los Angeles course and Finish Line Festival.
