10 Squats
Shoulder Prep
10 Squats

Warm up:
5 Rounds of:
3 Strict weighted pull-ups
2 Muscle-up ring rows (full turnout at the start)
Bonus: 3 Butterfly kips

Practice Handstands, handstand walking, and/or shoulder taps

Five rounds for time of:
Handstand Walk, 25 yards
50 squats

Cool Down:
Bottom of skin the cat, 30 seconds cumulative


Today’s workout is a great test of basic gymnastic skill and your ability to maintain that skill under pressure.  Stay active in your shoulders, and tight in your butt and abs for those handstands.


I am stealing a post idea from my friends blog at CrossFit Pacific Coast and am going to ask you guys to post your thoughts on CrossFit, life, nutrition, and/or whatever in haiku form.  Remember the 5-7-5 syllable structure, have at it, and keep it (relatively) clean.  Examples:
