Shoulder Prep

Warm up:
Jog 400  meters, then
3 rounds
10 Deadlifts with the dumbbells or kettlebells you plan on using
10 Wall Squats, go slow
10 Push ups

In teams of two, relay style, 4 times per athlete:
100 meter Farmer’s Carry, AHAP (As Heavy As Possible)
20 Wall Ball Shots
10 Burpees

Cool down:
Active Hang, 1 minute each
Samson Stretch, 1 minute each

The 2012 CF Games Open is over!

  What are your thoughts and take aways?  I’ve seen so many people put out and crush PRs and expectations over the last 5 weeks.

  The highlight of 12.5 was yesterday’s 10 am class with Terri and Jamie Aron.  Terri opened with ‘I want a score of 6.  Three thrusters and one or two C2B pull ups.’  Jamie said, ‘I want a score of 3.

  Three thrusters.’  She was not able to achieve the elusive chest to bar pull up in warm up.

So Lara and myself counted for them, and right before our eyes, Jamie scored 32 reps and Terri got 49!  So awe inspiring.  It never ceases to amaze me what can happen in the competition setting.  Laugh at your self imposed limits and break through to the other side.  Great job to our PCF peeps!
