Burgener Warm up

Set up 2 Barbells and practice movements

“Desforges”

Five rounds for time of:
225 lb Deadlift, 12 reps
Pull ups, 20 reps
135 lb Clean and Jerk, 12 reps
Knees to Elbows, 20 reps

Team Comps Baby!

For heavy, high rep workouts like these, I liken it to being repeatedly punched in the chest by a freight train.  Come in, loosen up, grab your barbells, and practice the movements.  As always, don’t forget to scale accordingly.  The post title came from my buddy Traver of CrossFit Pacific Coast, and I found it a great saying for the moment before a workout if you’re nervous.  If I’m ever preoccupied or distracted or restless, hanging out in the Space Between Thoughts is great place to be.

Also, please join me in wishing all our competitors luck and good will.  NLI will be Alexi and Francisco’s first competition, and if I weren’t competing myself in a far away place I would totally go to the OC to give them some love.
