Jog 400 meters
DROM and Shoulder Prep as needed
Mobility:
Banded Hip stretch, 1-2 minutes per leg (don’t forget the retest!)
7 Deadlifts
7 Front Squats
7 Push Presses
7 Thrusters
Strength:
Thrusters 3-3-3-3
“Dae Han”
Three rounds for time of:
Run 800 meters with a 45 lb barbell
15 foot rope climb, 3 ascents
135 lb Thruster, 12 reps
There is only an 8am On Ramp class, and 9am Regular class Saturday morning due to the box jump.
I remember our first Box Jump to the excellent folks at CrossFit South Bay last year.
I forgot who actually coined the term (Martina?
), but one of my thoughts was, ‘But of course. Why hasn’t this been done before?’ A Box Jump involves members of one box visiting another to meet, WOD, possibly eat and hang out afterwards.
We enjoy a great relationship with many of the surrounding boxes of LA, and not least of all the people of LAX CrossFit.
So the plan is, meet at the gym around 10am, then caravan over. Post to the comments section of the Upcoming events board, if you’re making it.
