Honor the Rest Day

There will be OPEN GYM today from 10am to 11am, followed by a CrossFit 101 at 11am.  Otherwise enjoy the rest day.

We cannot express how proud we are of those who committed and brought it to CrossFit Ventura’s Central Coast Clash yesterday!  In non-stop, epic, and heart wrenching events, Deniz Firat, Sam Pearson, Sterling Lenheim, Amy Pero, Francis Herrero, Brandon Yound, Greg Rader, and Scott Mcgee left everything on the mat for their first ever CrossFit competition!  Returning competition veterans Sondra Jovel, Sean Milar, and Zeb Pascual (me) also brought it and had a crap-load of fun. 

A special thank you also to our PCF family who showed up to support and spectate: Rico and K-Ron, Sweet Assassin, Smidty, Jamie, Richard, Jan Bu, and the Oliver tribe!  We couldn’t have done it without you, and please forgive me if I forgot anyone.

It’s probable that the cool, fun loving people you met today will reappear in two weeks for our second box jump to CrossFit Pacific Coast on Saturday the 28th!  It will not only have Paradiso CrossFit and CPC but also some members of CrossFit Goodland, owned by the mighty Nick Conn, 2nd place finisher at this weekends Clash.
