Congratulations to everyone who competed in the NLI yesterday!
There is nothing more satisfying as a coach than to watch you all lay it on the line and push past your own boundaries and limitations.
You all inspire me. It was definitely a showcase of what I need to personally work on, namely strength.
I knew going in this wasn’t going to be my “wheel house”, but even the most lack luster of performances gives me motivation to train harder for the next one. We encourage everyone to throw their hat in the ring at some point in their athletic journey. Even spectating can be an incredible educational experience as it has been said that athletes learn by watching. We are incredibly fortunate to be in such a strong region where some of the best crossfitters in the world come out to perform and show us all what’s possible. Next stop for me is the OC Throwdown and I hope to see you all there!
