CrossFit Total

Back squat, 1 rep

Shoulder Press, 1 rep

Deadlift, 1 rep

Keegan Martin (age 17): Squat 355, Press 135, Deadlift 400. Total 890lbs
Matt Ross (age 15): Squat 300, Press 115, Deadlift 305. Total 720lbs

Alyssa Ross (age 17): Squat 215, Press 95, Deadlift 315. Total 625lbs

This is a test of strength, not a strength gaining workout.  After you warm up, you will get ONLY 3 ATTEMPTS at each lift!  Watch this brief explanation of the CF Total and 3 movements.


Evening Class Crew!

Yesterday may have been our two year anniversary, but there is no time to look back…I am only looking towards the future!  This seems like a good time to officially announce the new coaches as well!

Frank – Our resident CF Endurance and Pose running coach.  He played water polo and soccer in high school, did some Olympic Lifting in college and started CrossFitting 2 years ago.

  He loves to trail run and the ocean…surprise, surprise.

Smidty – You can’t miss him.  Many people have already pointed out, he has been helping people on his own since his arrival at the gym.  He is a natural teacher and student of CrossFit, with 4 years of CrossFit experience I am excited and proud to have him as part of our team.

Lara – One of our youngest and most enthusiastic athletes.  She is a personal trainer, competitive CrossFitter and lifelong athlete.

Garrett – He has been training in secret, in the late hours of the night.

  His love of CrossFit and helping others has led him to start his own gym, CrossFit Zen!  While he is looking for his own space, he will be helping out and training here.

For Labor Day on Monday we will be heading on a beach cruising tour down to Manhattan Beach, South Bay area.

  The plan is to meet at Mendocino Farms in Marina del Rey at 11am, grab a bite to eat and then head down the coast with no specific plans.
