Last night, I watched a documentary called Waiting for Superman on the state of our education system, so this topic is fresh in my mind.  I believe that education is where our salvation lies.  I will not attempt to summarize the film, although I would highly recommend seeing it, but there was a particular message that I wanted to relay.  The idea is in the fact that Paradiso CrossFit is a place of education and in many ways like a school.  The question of what makes a good school is what stood out.  The criteria includes:  quality teachers, high expectations, more class time, world class standards, and real accountability.  I couldn’t agree more.

These small pearls are why I enjoy watching documentary films.

  To be successful, we will need to be honest with ourselves and each other, trust and support each other and put in the hard work to become what we know we can be!
