At it’s core, the snatch is simply a jump and a land.  Remember you are jumping the barbell through a range of motion and landing with the weight in solid support.  It’s the most efficient way to get a weight from the ground to over your head.  At it’s utmost, the snatch is the most graceful and powerful expressions of athleticism in all of sport.  There is a plethora of excellent videos on the lift but these are still the best I’ve seen as far as reinforcing the basics:
