Handstand Push ups require great strength, balance and wrist flexibility.  As with all of our complex and advanced movements, if you cannot perform the movement as prescribed, we can focus on different aspects of the movement.  One of the most important aspects is to be comfortable in an inverted position!  This may be with your feet on a box or against the wall or in a headstand.  From that point we can begin to work on your push up strength.  Watch a few great variations here wmv.


New Yoga Classes offered every Wednesday morning at 8:15am and Sunday afternoon at 4:30pm!  This will be a service funded by donations of the participants, and will not count towards your classes per week.  Everyone is welcome to attend, including non-members of the gym.  A yoga mat is recommended and the class will last approximately one hour.  Remember to check the schedule for any changes.

The primary purpose of these classes will be to improve your overall perfornance as a CrossFitter by focusing on your flexibility, balance and agility.  Please note, the Sunday Open Gym will now begin at 5:30 until 7pm.
