Technique is integral to strength

If you missed it, read the “CrossFit Total” link from above.  If you don’t read it, I’ll give you a brief rundown of the rules.

 First, don’t be stupid.  Second, don’t be greedy.  Last, don’t be pig-headed.  Some other points of importance include:

-Remember your breath!  When teaching us about breath, Rip asked at the barbell cert, “How many people’s heads have exploded in the gym?”  He was referring to the shock some people have when they hear about holding your breath while performing an exercise.  The answer is zero by the way.

-This workout requires some time, so get going immediately.  You should perform each exercise with lighter, warm up loads prior to your one rep attempts.  Even if you feel warm from another exercise, don’t jump right into a maximal load.

This is a test, and is designed to measure whats there, not create something that’s not.  Thats what training is for.-Rip from the CF Journal article you should have read by now.
