We’ve been hitting the main site WODs pretty hard for two weeks now, and some of you must be hurting a bit.  I recently posted something about callus care, which is just one of many parts of our body to maintain.

What do you do outside of the gym to maintain a healthy body?

 Most of us eat well, but do you stretch regularly or ice your sore spots?

 Or do you just deal with the pain and tightness as a fact of life?

We need to remember what the current definition of fitness is, as provided by crossfit:  Increased work capacity across broad time, modal and age domains.  I look at this as keeping our body as healthy as possible for as long as possible.  Keep those joints moving freely and those muscles loose.

 Remember the long run.  Grab a nice big glass of wine, some rollers or a tennis ball and definitely some proprioceptive neuromuscluar facilitation and have some fun!
