Team CrossFit Academy 2014 Summer Lift Off

“PCF beasts and beasts-in-training: The next local amateur weightlifting meet is taking place on May 17th at Team Crossfit Academy in Monrovia. Registration is now open. This is a prime opportunity for those of you thinking of trying one of these competitions out for the first time. We brought a spirited and scrappy VBC contingent to the last two meets in Monrovia and to the most recent one in Whittier – all with first time lifters, all kicked ass. If you are on the fence, jump off and do it! I can guarantee that your training at PCF has well-prepared you for this. Much like the Open, this is an opportunity to showcase your hard work and to learn where you need to improve. You compete individually, but you will have the full support of the PCF family behind you. May 17 gives you ample time to sharpen your snatch and C+J skills and to purchase a singlet. Note: You’ll first need to register as a USAW athlete with the Venice Barbell Club as your affiliate (sorry MDR purists).”
