We encourage you to watch others in the gym.  Watch all skill levels, because it is important to be able to distinguish between good movement and bad movement. When I started in my apartment years ago, my main tool was my video camera. I would practice movements and review them, often times surprising myself with what I actually looked like and what I visualized myself looking like. We have the opportunity to use our mobile devices to our advantage and we will be videoing you as often as possible to give you the opportunity to see your own movements. Watching yourself frame by frame can be particularly helpful with the more complex movements like olympic lifts and gymnastics.  You might gain a new appreciation for movement standards in others and yourself .
