Don’t forget Track night tonight at the Santa Monica College track with the awesome Frank Agz at 6:30 pm.


We’ve long desired an adjunct CrossFit Endurance program, perferably on a Track, and with a passionate, knowledgeable, and committed athlete running the show who is also on board with the culture of our gym and Main Site.  It doesn’t get funner or better than Frank Agz on Thursday nights.

I’ve been going to Track nights every Thursday with Frank for the last month or so because running and general metcon (Metabolic Conditioning) is my weakness and has been since starting CrossFit.  After just a few weeks with him, and it was only once a week, not the twice a week that CFE recommends, I already saw dramatic increases in my performances during WODs:  I wouldn’t get tired where I usually do, I took less breaks, and when I did I didn’t have to rest that long, and WODs didn’t feel like death all the time.  His drills are different every week, and I walk away with something new every time I leave.  Who knew running as a skill would be so rich in skills and drills?  Hope to see many of you there.

If you’re going to the gym, this will be the first time we’ve ever done weighted pull ups for doubles.  Strap on your weight vests, weight belts, chains, or packs and go for it!
