Amy Garrett

Swim Instructor

Growing up in Southern California, I was exposed to water sports at an early age. Swimming, surfing, and bodyboarding were activities that I had the privilege to enjoy growing up. I swam competitively in high school with a CIF ranked team so that I could participate in my true love: water polo. I started playing water polo in 8th grade, and continued playing into college with the University of Arizona club team, eventually going on to win 4th place at Nationals in 2008. Additionally, I taught swim lessons, both in a class and private setting, for people ranging from infants to adults every summer for 6 years. I feel confident that I can teach you the fundamentals of proper water mechanics, and do so while giving you a great, water-based workout that is challenging and fun!
